There are 2 Methods for applying a PAN Card:
1. Offline Method2. Online Method
1. Offline Method:
In this type of application you have to do the following steps:
(a) Collect the PAN Application Form 49A you can collect it from the nearest PAN/TAN, NSDL or UTIITSL office in your city.OR, You Can Download it from our Blog to Download the form 49A Click Here!
(b) Fill Up the The Form Properly & Avoid making mistakes. To serve you better We have uploaded a Filled Sample Form for you, download it and follow the Correct guidelines for filling up your own form. To download the filled up sample form Click Here!
(c) After filling up the Form attach 2 Copies of your recent Passport Size Photo on the Form and put your signature on the form.
(d) Go to the PAN Processing office in your city I prefer NSDL Office and submit the duly filled form along with the Processing Fees Rs.105/-
(e) Go Home & Relax Wait until your PAN Comes Home. It Takes 30 to 60 Days for completion.
2. Online Method:
This is the Recommended type for applying PAN Card as it is fast and takes less time! The processes are as follows:
(a) You Can apply using online method via Govt. Websites like: The Process is very Simple Just click on the links below the images and follow the instructions there. Both NSDL and UTI-ITSL provied PAN Card for just Rs.105/- but eTDS-DSC cahrges Rs.160 to Rs.170/-. Above all I prefer you to apply via NSDL because its purely Govt. Website and the most popular website for Online PAN Card application.

(b) Just go Click on anyone of the images above as you like and follow the instructions, fill up the form and you make the payment both online & offline as you wish. After completing all the processes sit back and Relax and wait until your PAN Card calls at your door!!
